Triple Double the fun

After the year starting out so well at the Rio I decided I would savor my win and hold off playing for a bit and didn’t make another trip until Feb 2. With so little playing time put into that first win of the year and after almost an entire month not playing I was ready to get into the action again.

I headed out expecting to be welcomed by $10 denomination full pay TDB and Super Acres and a wide variety of other games only to find that each place had removed my beloved games!! Competing properties removing some of the best games in the Country. What a shame. It was a good run and they had been there as long as I can think back at least since 2011 and now they were ousted. This was a sever annoyance to say the least and now I had to settle for mostly Sub Par $5 games with a few playing, yet much more boring than the kicker games I love.

The first place to remove the games didn’t know or tell me why ( I did his two $40k royals on one of them and many $20k jackpots including two in one night the so who’s to say ) and the second place told me they probably just followed along after the first place. After my scouting was done I took my complaints to the casino host and manager and after my lecture was complete I decided to take my anger out on a 9/6 TDB game. A terrible game to say the least, but I was here to play $50 a hand and JOB at $25 just wasn’t going to cut it on this day!

I forgot to mention that when I first arrived I parked my car at the charging station and walked to the closest casino which is my usual habit and promptly lost a $1,000 before returning to my car and my scouting trip around town. After the $1,000 loss and the scouting done I settled into a $5 denom TDB game and fed my next $1,000 into the machine with a few more G’s ready to go. My first had was a wash just pairing up. My second hand was Jacks or Queens followed my third in which I started with three 222’s. This was so early into my session I didn’t even pull my phone and Immediately drew an Ace Deuce on the draw! What a hand! Here I am another 20 minutes into my playing day and I was up $9,050. I don’t remember playing any more hand or my freeplay but I did leave shortly after with an extra $8,900 to ease my pain of losing my favorite games. What a day….again! Less than an hour playing for the year and I was up $20,020 :-)
